About Us

ORCA was established by Reginald Young and Estella Weems the winter of 1985 in Pacifica, California. The early years targeted small business accounting applications in multi-user (UNIX) environments. As the open systems environment evolved to include networked PC's, ORCA incorporated this technology into their multi-user solutions. These combined solution sets were leverage in consulting with larger clients providing network integration with existing legacy systems.

Recognizing workflow, imaging and document management opportunities as a consulting practice capitalizing on all of ORCA's acquired skills, emphasis was shifted to providing these solutions sets.

Finance, banking, small - medium sized business and municipal government agencies are our target vertical markets.

Quality Assurance and Systems Testing in networked environments is another major consulting practice in which ORCA is engaged. The target markets are the same with legacy back-end applications integrated with networked client environments.

ORCA Computer Solutions casts itself as a company that does not simply sell technology but serves as a strategic consulting partner assisting clients in the management of information technology. The benefits being increased efficiency and competitiveness for client businesses.
